There have been some ghoulish goings on at Toyota Tamworth this Halloween.
This year our group reaffirmed our commitment to our chosen charity, The Prince’s Trust, by becoming patrons of The Trust. As part of this we have decided to take part in their Million Makers scheme. This scheme sees a team of volunteers from each company involved pitch for a start up amount from the dragons in a ‘Dragons Den’ style meeting. Our team have come from all across our group, from various departments to take part. Because we have joined the initiative later than other participants we needed to hit the ground running.
Our Million Makers team had to pitch an event idea to the dragons as part of their fundraising plans. With time of the essence our team decided to make the most of Halloween this year by getting the whole group involved in a huge Halloween party to raise money for this worth charity.
Never ones to shy away from these things our team from Toyota Tamworth threw themselves wholeheartedly into the challenge. The entire dealership was dressed ready for the day and they even filmed a short clip for Facebook to show off the great efforts they went to. In addition to this the team were all dressed in fancy dress for the event. Our Sales Manager Mark brought a very spooky Monk to the proceedings!
We had a cake sale for customers to get involved in, what better excuse for a little extra sugar than Halloween! We had a great time getting involved and we hope you enjoyed taking part in the spooky goings on as much as we did. Most importantly we raised an impressive amount of cash to join the pennies in the pot for the Million Makers to help them to raise their ambitious target of £10,000. We look forward to seeing what else the Million Makers team has in store for us and we can assure them that they have the full backing Vantage Toyota Tamworth.
